Hi all,

So I just updated my Intel ME through this webpage, using ME1 package (My motherboard ASRock B150M-HDS is not on the list).

After updating and restarting my computer, now when I run the INTEL-SA-00086 Detection Tool I get, apart from the "This system is not vulnerable. It has already been patched." message, this one too:

"Installed Intel(R) Capability Licensing Service Client is obsolete..."
Before updating this message wasn't there, so I don't really know what is going on, or what "Intel(R) Capability Licensing Service Client" is. What I can do, and what does it mean?

Thanks!

Finally it is fixed. All credits goes to king2630 from Mygarage.ro as he is who helped me fix it in this thread https://www.mygarage.ro/software/399830-motherboard-asrock-problema-dupa-aplicarea-patch-ului-intel-sa-00086-a.html

Go to device manager -> Intel Management Engine Interface -> uninstall device and check the "delete the driver software for this device" box. Now restart your PC and download this http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=352&func=fileinfo&id=3329&lang=fr extract it wherever you want (watch out, it will extract all the files directly, not a folder with them, so if you don't want to mess up select a empty folder lol) and install it. Restart your PC again after installing this and...

I had this issue too, installing the newest chipset drivers fixed it. Run the tool again, if it says something about a service not running, restart the PC.

I'm getting "Error 8772: Invalid usage, -allowsv switch required to update the same version firmware", the webapge says is due to the version that is already installed. Already tried restarting. Also tried adding myself the -allowsv command to the package .bat, it installed again , restarted the computer and I still get the same "installed (R) Capability Licensing..." error.

Also tried installing latest INF driver, from Motherboard page and from intel page (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility-) But nothing. I still get the same error.
