Question Error after windows update

yesterday I restarted my PC after windows update I get rein error the data in ec or ec flash may be corrupted.

What does that mean? Asus tuf sabertooth z87 mb

Did you update windows or your Bios? Try shutting off computer. Shut down power switch, unplug power plug. Wait for a minute or two, then plug power back in, turn on power switch, then start computer. See if this helps. Also what, if any, devices do you have plugged into ports/usb other than your mouse and keyboard? If any try unplugging those devices then try cycling your computer.
