Hello people!

I bought a mouse today, an Arachnid Sicarius, which comes with its own software called "IST Gaming Mouse".

Further info:

OS: Windows 7
Driver Version according to software: 1.01.00
Driver Version according to disk: 2.1.0 (?)
Salesperson stated that there were issues with the disk and that I should download the drivers directly from their website instead. I did so at first installed them, when they didn't work I uninstalled them and tried the disk, yielding the exact same result.

I downloaded the driver from the manufacturer's website (it's produced by the same company that sells it), but upon installing the driver, the configuration will not run without producing the following error messages: (Observe that I translated the first error message)

PS. Unsure if this is the right place to post it...?

If the salesperson told you that there were issues with the disk, I think I would have gotten very suspicious immediately, and not have completed that purchase. You now have 3 version numbers of the mouse software, and none of them work.

If you can return the thing, I would. Today.
