Error C000056 applying update operation 448 of 113355 ($$_servic...)

Just rebooted my computer, said it was doing some updates then this screen came up. Ive rebooted 5 times, wont even let me into safe mode. Im at a loss....anyone got any ideas?

Windows 8.1 if that helps

Forgive me but i dont follow which of those applies here. Which of those 'fixes' should i do? Keep in mind im unable to boot at all, not even safe mode.

I dont have the disk anymore, currently downloading one and will attempt it once finished.

I just booted from a jump drive and attempted to repair the drive. It then rebooted and same error, no fix.

this is a laptop or pc tower and where did you get this os you have on .
