Error catalyst stopped working

Hello,
when I log into my PC a fixing error search starts and ends with " Catalyst host application stopped working".
Could you pls assist on what' s going on and how can I fix it?

Do you have an ATI/AMD video card? It sounds like the catalyst control center (CCC) wasn't installed properly. Try uninstalling your video driver and install the newest one from AMD's web site.

yes this is the video driver causing this error,make sure u have the latest version of net.framework installed!
