Hi,
Whenever I try turning my PC on it comes up with the motherboard error code 'CC' or '55' which apparently means memory is not installed even though I have installed my RAM.
My specs are:
Intel i3 3800
Maximus VIII Formula
Kingston RAM
MSI GeForce GTX 1050Ti
I have looked at some 'fixes' such as loosening the cpu cooler, reseating the ram and reseating the cpu to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Solution
https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-VIII-FORMULA/ (assuming this is your board)

And assuming you mean i3 8300 for cpu (lots of assuming but what you typed isn't a thing)

Then your cpu and motherboard aren't compatible

Sorry about mistyping things (could you point out what please?). I was under the impression that the Maximus VIII Formula had a LGA1151 socket which is the same as the Interl Core i3-8300?

You're partially right about the socket but they changed some.things between 7th gen and 8th gen. I think that's a z270 chipset which supports only 6th and 7th gen cpus. Go to motherboard cpu support list if you just want to see that confirmation
