Error code 0xc00007b when running games.

So I keep getting the error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00007b)" when I try to run some games.

So far it only happens when I try to run Battlefield 1 and COD WAW.

Things I did to try and fix it:
-Restart PC
-Re install games
-Update GPU drivers
-Re install direct X
-Re install all Visual Studio packages
-Do windows updates
-Run program as administrator
-Run program in compatibility mode
-Run chsdsk in cmd
-Do a clean install of windows (yes I completely formatted my SSD and the problem still remains )
The problem showed up on windows 10 64bit and after the format I went back to windows 8.1 64bit.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

System specs:
Intel i5 8400
Gigabyte GTX 1070 Windforce OC
Intel 240GB Pro SSD
MSI Z370 Pro mobo
Current OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit

Never mind, I finally got a solution!

Turns out if i run the web installer of direct X it solved the problem
