I get error code 0xlx when trying to open a .jpg file.

Open up an elevated Command Prompt by typing "CMD" in Start, right-clicking on the first option, and selecting "Run as administrator." Enter "sfc /scannow." After this, enter "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth".

Open up an elevated Command Prompt by typing "CMD" in Start, right-clicking on the first option, and selecting "Run as administrator." Enter "sfc /scannow." After this, enter "Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth".

dism did not recognize RestoreHealth. I am reading .jpg with Paint as interim workaround but it lacks options I need.
