Error code 2,179,11

I bought new i3 8th gen desktop with windows 10, I installed canon lide 120 scanner,but it displays Error message: Release the lock switch, detach the USB cable and reconnect. Scanner driver will be closed. With error code 2,179,11, scanner is properly work with windows XP, Is it competable with windows 10. Pl help
