error code 28 ROOT\PRINTER\0000 can't uninstall printer

I'm getting that error code in Norton 360 and it looks to be coming from an old Lexmark s500 printer that i no longer use and no longer have.

Looking into the C: drive there is a lexmark folder and if i open it, there is a drivers folder and then several folders in there is well.

Problem is I have already uninstall the lexmark program using the Win 7 uninstall system...so there are no more Lexmark options to uninstall....but this error still continues to show.

There are no other printers install on this system

how do i fix this error?

how do i completely get rid of the lexmark folder/files on the C: drive?

If you've uninstalled it delete the folder. Check devices and printers. If the icon is there delete it

icon isn't in the printers folder but the error codes still show up

the code 28 error code shows up several times with 0000....0001.....0002 on the end

Go to device manager / view / show hidden devices. Go to printers. If its showing here delete it
