Hello, I have an Alienware 17 R5 and after changing the CPU thermal paste, I get graphics device driver error code 43. The thing is, it's for an external GPU. The connectors are securely fastened as I double-checked not too long ago and the connectors even light up. I've tried DDU, BIOS update, and taking out a ram stick and putting it back in. Still nothing. The GPU's fans are spinning which tells me that it's at least getting power. The thing that really confuses me is the fact that I didn't even touch the GPU the whole day, just the laptop.

If you're using the Thunderbolt Type-C port on the laptop, I'm curious as to what sort of dock(make and model) you're working with. Often times generic docks do tend to make for some interesting scalp treatments.

For the sake of relevance, what BIOS version are you on at the moment? Version for Windows 10?
