Error Copying File or Folder

Hello, I receive message: Error Copying File or Folder.Cannot copy (file name): cannot find the specified file. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name.
This message occurs when I try to transfer unencrypted, unprotected audio files to a Trio A1000, 4GB MP3 player. When I open the player, it indicates no files, but the space available is full (blue)!! I don't understand why it indicates full, yet there are NO audio files on the unit.
