Open msconfig
Start | Run | Type: msconfig | Click OK |
Click on the Startup tab
See X:\Desktop listed ?
There should be Desktop folders here...
%homedrive%\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop
or
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop
%allusersprofile%\Desktop
or
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
%homedrive%\Documents and Settings\Default User\Desktop
or
C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Desktop
%homepath%\Desktop
or
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name Here\Desktop
%windir%\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop
or
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop
Not X:\Desktop
