ERROR: g_pAsWMI_NotOpen ???

Every time I boot my computer (BIOS is 'default')
I get to my desktop and have a small box notification that reads...

error
g_pAsWMI_NotOpen

I click 'close' and that's it. I haven't noticed anything wrong with my computer. But what does this message mean?

I can't find any (useful) info on that error & I've never come across it in all my 24 years in computers & Windows.

Hi Guys:
I'm running windows 8.1 on an Asus PC. ever since let my Operating system install the recommended Windows update a few days ago, I'm now getting the same error box poping up on my desktop after a reboot. g_pAswmI_NotOpen

Any hel or info on this would be really helpful as I'm not that advanced to locate info on this error.
