Check it! http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/check-your-hard-disk-for-errors If there is anything wrong with the HDD replace it. If the hard drive is fine try restoring your system back to a time you know it worked. Lastly, (If hard drive is good) reinstall your OS. Upvote 0 Downvote
