Error of PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM

I have a hp slim desktop 260-a020 and I am getting an error of "Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 083)" as well as "PXE-E61: media test failure, check cable" and "PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM". Please assist, if possible! Thank you!

A PXE error might be normal. If you usually use WIFI then you won't have an ethernet cable plugged in. But, a PXE message may be a sign that your hard disk has failed and the computer is looking for an alternate method of booting.

PXE messages on a home PC means it can't find a bootable device, as others have said, HDD could have died or the boot sectors has failed.

If you can get in to the BIOS, check the bootable devices and see if your HDD is there, if it is see if you can disable PXE boot, so it doesn't try and boot off the network or change the boot order so it is that last one it tries.
