got a couple computers in a trade for some work, one is a Dell micro or mini desktop 5070 optiplex.
popped case open and it didn't have a hdd AND needed a vga to display port adapter so i stuck in on the shelf for later.
got snowed in Thursday so dragged it off the shelf as i found an adapter and set it up on the table.
boots up fine, turns out it has a m2 mass storage ssd in it so no hdd needed i guessed.
Thought i would try to install win 7 on it and mess around , managed to get it to boot from the cd after a couple tries [it didn't want to] but after loading files it gives me the following error:
"The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI Compliant"
so after i do some interweb searching it seems as if maybe this pc just isn't designed for win 7?
bios version is higher than anything i have seen on Dell site so i don't believe its a old BIOS version issue.
any thoughts?
