Hello guys
I posted yesterday because I was installing a motherboard for the first time and have had more than 10 problems until now which all got solved. It seems though that the last problem is the biggest one. This post will be long because I want to explain everything in detail.
Motherboard: ASRock H110M-HDS
Speakers: Bose (no drivers needed I guess)
Headphones: Logitech g430
1) I have the disc with the drivers for my motherboard and that is what I installed first. Everything was fine until I tried installing 'HD audio driver and application' which is basicly the realtek high definition audio driver. When I try this I get the following error: Install Realtek HD Audio Driver Failure! [Error Code: 0x000000FF].
=> Result: My Headset works. My speakers don't get recognised on my pc. Realtek High Definition Audio Driver is on the list of installed programs although I really don't know how this is possible. In my Device manager I have 2X High definition audio-device and 1x Logitech g430 gaming headset
2) In my search for a solution I came across this: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/solutions-to-fix-issue-install-realtek-hd-audio-driver-failure/ . (I hope links are allowed).
I can't do solution 1 for some reason. Realtek can't be installed this way.
Solution 3 seemed to be very helpful for a lot of people so I tried that and it had some effect. When I tried solution 3, I got past the error part and it seemed like everything was fine. No error came up but...
=> Result: Still no speakers are found. Headset doesn't work either now (They seem to work but then get an error when I try to test them, they also don't work if I install logitech drivers). I need to say I tried solution 3 in a slightly other way. Instead of deleting Microsoft UAA Bus Driver which I don't have I deleted High definition audio (which I have twice). I then had to search on the internet for a driver and download it as the driver was gone from my cd because I deleted Realtek high definition audio as said in the instructions of the post.
I really hope to get an answer through this way. You guys have always been very helpful and you are my last hope. I'm close to giving up so you guys are my last resort.
Thanks for reading/helping
Edit: Before trying to install the driver I think there was realtek audio visible in my 'playback devices'. After 1) and 2) it wasn't visible anymore.
