When I log in to my optimum dlink router with optId, and password I log in fine, but when I click router I get

HTTP Status 404 - /unauthorized
message /unauthorized
description The requested resource (/unauthorized) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/7.0.27

on a white page.

and when I refresh it takes me to the page but then stops and says "internal error"

Now its saying

,and like this for a day

I have Optimum Online, and am familiar with the router that they provide. While it is access to a router, at no additional cost, what you are experiencing is the pitfall. Namely that they have it locked down, and the end user cannot fine tune the settings. While the provided settings are adequate for basic use, for those that want to go beyond that the only solution is to use your own router (and turn in the Optimum one or else they charge you if it is not plugged in).

The problem is that before I could through their website at least port forward, and access basic setting's but now I cannot.

In my case, I have an Xfinity Technicolor router/modem combo. I finally had to call them and have them reset it, which worked.
