[SOLVED] Errors while booting "get fw version error" and "me invocation flow error"

A week ago my PC wouldnt boot up. It would turn on, the fans would spin up for 2-3 seconds and it would turn off then on again. It would be stuck in this loop untill I pressed the power switch on the PSU. I disconnected it from the power socket, removed the motherboard battery, and left it like that for maybe 20 minutes while I went to get a new CMOS battery. When i came back, I installed the old battery, plugged it back in, and powered it on just to see if anything changed. From then the computer worked just fine during the next week.

Today a different problem occured. It gets past the BIOS menu and shows 2 errors.
1st one says "Get fw version error" followed by a "ME invocation flow error" after which the computer shuts down.

The motherboard is an Asrock b75m-gl r2. 0 and is pretty old. Maybe about 8 years.

Check if you are on the latest BIOS v1.50. This problem was supposed to be fixed awhile ago according to ASRock website.
