my pc gets alot of problems extracting large files and i always get a corrupt error or some kind of the sort, if i take the same files to another pc it works fine. vista says that i have a memory problem, any help?

Probably bad ram, run Memtest and see if it reports any errors in 2 or 3 passes.

Also see if your CPU is Prime stable for at least 30 mins.

download prime95, and run it for 30 minutes. hunting for prime numbers requires massive recursion and perfect patterns and will find instability rather quickly
