I have a laptop I purchased for college. It is a Dell Latitude E6430. In my old gaming rig, that I do not plan to take to college, I have a Samsung 840 Evo 250gb that I would like to use for external storage. The laptop currently has a 256GB enternal SSD. The laptop also has an eSATA port on the side. I do not fully understand eSATA. I am wondering what would be the best way to connect my external SSD to be able to use it for additional storage. Thanks a bunch!

Buy an external enclosure with either an eSATA or USB interface. Put the SSD in, and connect as needed.
