ESATA laptop to internal hdd esata cable

I have a laptop with a esata port and a esata cable and I was wondering if it is possible to run my desktop and plug my esata into my hdd's inside the desktop to transfer large amounts of movies\music, without using external case? I am hoping to power the HDD's off the power supply in desktop still and just plug in the esata? I do not use the second HDD to boot and am wanting to\ from that first then maybe the bootable one? Any help would be great I have looked through forums and have not seen the answer to my question. Thank You for your time.

Internal SATA uses a slightly different connection from eSATA but one of these should see you good.
