Escndv.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close

What is the problem with this setup of my Epsom 3490 scanner? I have reinstalled the software but still get this same error message.
I have another Epsom scanner (Epsom stylus SX200 multifunction) and that works perfectly but I want to scan some colour negs and slides. 😱

Search the scanner forums of photo-i.co.uk . There is a workaround there where you delete one of the temporary files that helps with the error your are experiencing. Maybe that will solve your problem.
