Escndv problem

Hello,
Cannot transfer an attachment which is text that was scanned on my printer. How do I do this? I was informed that it was an escndv.exe file and gmail could not send this for security reason. Can anyone help?

Gmail will not allow you to send executable files (security risk). That is what the .exe extension indicates. A text document will usually have a .txt or .rft extension. Gmail will allow those to be send.

So, you may simply just need to rename the file. Good luck!
