Estimated FPS Drop at higher resolutions??

Hey guys, I have a quick question in regards to resolution. Basically, I'm upgrading for Battlefield 3 and recently the benchmarks for the alpha version of the game were released. However they were for 1920 x 1080. I have an 17" monitor, that uses 1280 x 1024, and I would like to know how much FPS I'd gain. I'm probably gonna get a GTX 560 (not the Ti). While it isn't actually benchmarked, I'd put the 560 right in the area of the HD 6870, which comes in at 48 FPS with maxed settings 1920 x 1080. So I guess what I'm asking is what FPS should I bee getting at 1280 x 1024 since I know I'll get a boost because of the lower resolution. Anyone have experience with this? Because I would like to hit 60 FPS, but I can turn down certain things to boost it up a bit.

Cheers, :)

At lower resolutions like 1280x1024 your framerate will be bound more by your CPU than your graphics card. While 1280x1024 certainly uses a lot less GPU horsepower, a GTX 560 would probably be more than enough, your framerate is likely to be restricted by your CPU unless you have a very fast quad core. You're probably going to need either a high clocked Phenom II X4 or a Core i5 or i7 to get really high framerates at a low resolution.
