I ran my broadband using LAN connection. Worked fine.
Decided to migrate to wireless - worked fine when I found my realtek adapter would not work on USB 1 and moved it to USB2..
However when I connect using the wireless icon on my taskbar and WPS button on the router, the Ethernet icon plus red cross superimposes on the wireless icon, and yes I have physically removed the Ethernet cable, and disabled the attachment in Network and Sharing.
I don't want a spurious error message, whenI think everything is working. How can I fix this?
Environment is Windows 7, Talktalk broadband.
