Killer e2200 Ethernet going through BT powerline to the router.
Unbranded wireless USB adapter

Had driver problems on my computer regarding my Ethernet drivers. I managed to install the drivers by removing my storage HDD from my computer and booting just with my SSD and installing the drivers from the MSI website by downloading them on this PC and transferring them over with a USB. When i try to connect via Ethernet the little triangle appears and says there is a problem with the drivers even though they are the newest ones from the website for windows 10. I'd rather not have to reinstall the drivers because it may be hard to reinstall them again.

The wireless adapter is not faulty and the drivers for it are correct because I just connected it to this PC and it worked fine.

Thank you for any help you can provide :)

Yes, it says i have the most up to date driver.

I tried reinstalling the ethernet drivers but now I do not see the ethernet in network and sharing center, but does show up in the device manager

in the Network and sharing center on the left side click on Change Adapter Settings.

Is the ethernet card listed in there?

If so, right click on it and select Status and click the Detail button in the next window that pops up. Make sure you are not connected via wifi.

Does it list an IP that does not start with 169.?

that was an accident, It is not listed there.

If you ware willing to reinstall Windows7, backup your data.

personally I don't like Killer network cards because there seem to be a lot of issues when installing the drivers.

Before you do that lets try one more thing:

uninstall the Killer Driver Suite
reboot the system
connect wirelessly
download the Driver Only (not Suite) from here http://www.killernetworking.com/support/driver-downloads/category/other-downloads
disconnect the wireless
install the Killer driver

I went through the installation, and a message saying "The installation of Killer E220x Drivers 64-bit appears to have failed. Do you want to continue the installation?"

Should I click yes or no?

Clicked yes and rebooted, still nothing in the network connections screen. The drivers are showing up in the device manager.

Since Ethernet and wireless are not working, could this be something other than drivers causing this?

Nothing I can loose at this point. Re installing windows 10. Will report back.

Installing windows 7 has fixed the problem. I disconnected my hard drive while I installed it so I only lost ~120gb of data (mostly games, mainly GTAV).
