I have my ethernet cable connected however under properties I have no internet access.

The properties register activity and it had sent and receiveed over 2 Million bytes so I presume the cable is working.

I read another post and tried entering these commands into CMD
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

This makes the network properties page state that the ethernet cable gets Internet access but it only lasts for about 20 seconds then the problem starts again.

According to the same post I should try disabling IPv6 and that is what I have done, these is my IPConfig with IPv6 disabled.

Solution
Do you have both the wired and wireless network adapters enabled? You should be using only one or the other.

Also run and post the full results of "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

Thanks.
