Ethernet Cable for 5GHZ

Hello the wifi at my house is 5ghz (NETWORK_5GEXT). I am wondering if I connected a ethernet cable to the wifi extender that I use and my computer will it be able to find the 5ghz network.

The extender's settings will be what determines the band it's on. If you're wanting the 5Ghz band, change your settings for it to use it.

Your WIFI extender is all that would find the 5Ghz network. Your PC connected via a cable will not know that it isn't directly connected to the router. It won't see any WIFI network.
