[SOLVED] Ethernet cable help

so i have connected my ethernet cable to the wifi and the pc but nothing happens there is no wifi in the pc and when i go to the change adapter setting ethernet is not there and when i troubleshoot it says inter(r) ethernet connection 1217-V has a driver problem
How can i fix that ?

Hello,

Search device manager> find network adapter> right click on the ethernet adapter and update
If you have a dell or hp, download their support app and scan drivers also.

You won't be able to update the driver without internet. Youll have to look up your motherboard on a different computer and find the ethernet drivers.

try the lan driver.

I installed it but it says There is a newer version of intel(R) network connection is installed on this computer which one do i have to delete ?

how about deleting the whole NIC adapter , or it's driver and a reboot

See i go to device manager i click on network setting then i try to delete Intel(R) ethernet connection 1217-V
