Ethernet cable mounting problem (rented house)

I need to attach a 20 meter long cable from the router to my room. Since we are in a rented apartment i can't use the cable clips wit the nail on it. So do you have any ideas for what I could do???

If you don't particularly care about aesthetic, just run it along the baseboard. As long as it's out of the way for human to trip, the signal really doesn't care whether the cable is nailed or not.

You can always use those removable picture hangers and a small zip tie to connect the wire to the hanger.

I have rental property and as long as they fix any large nail holes it is fine, i have to repaint most times anyway.

Hot glue the cable to the baseboard. When moving out, just rip it off.

3M Command line of removable hangers has various wire routing attachments. Easy and non-maring. Where more support is needed, small cable routing attachments are available in the electrical department of the typical big box home store that use a small nail similar to those on a typical large picture hanger. The hole can be spackled over without undue damage to the drywall.
