Question Ethernet cable plugged in but no internet (Ubuntu 18.04)

Hey guys, I am facing same issue right now and I am assuming that my issue can also resolve by doing as @e.email72 told in above reply I also want to enable secondary LAN but i am not able to enable it. Can you please guide me how can i reach there and enable secondary LAN in bios. I am using ubuntu 18.04.

See if you can ping 1.1.1.1

If you're using the ubuntu desktop open the network settings and see if you're setup for DHCP and if you got a lease. See what DNS ip is in there. If you are able to ping that ip address but you can't ping google.com then your DNS can be updated to 1.1.1.1 (cloudflare)

Not sure about that bios stuff there isn't a lot of info in your comment.
