ethernet card is detected bu cant connect cable to it

in my system windows server 2012 ethernet card is detected .when cable pluged it always show as disconnected status ,the ethernet card is new one

PLEASE I NEED URGENT HELP

Could be a defective network card. Could also be a bad cable/port on the router. Try switching out cables first, as it is the easiest solution to give a shot. If you have no luck there, try connecting the cable into a separate slot into your router/switch. Finally you can try swapping out your network interface card and see if that does the trick.
