[SOLVED] Ethernet connected with no internet at college.

Hey everyone..

I recently moved into my dorm and I’ve been trying to connect to internet for a few days now. Whenever I use my wireless adapter or Ethernet cable it connects but has no internet.

I tested the Ethernet on another computer and it worked fine along with the wireless in the room. My login is also not the problem, but it won’t redirect me to the login page on my main computer so that may be an issue.

Ive done a ton of different things to try to fix this with no luck. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

I also am able to connect to a hotspot on my phone interestingly enough... not sure at this point.

Talk with the person in charge of your floor. They have special software / networks in schools. You most likely will need a student tech to set you up with a password and ID.

Yup, you likely need the "token" to be online there. That information should be in your student info packet.
