so please HELP me I'm DESPERATE and need your help!!

If you connected the Pc to your macbook from Ethernet port to Ethernet port.

You need to use a different wired type of Ethernet cable called a cross over cable or X over cable.
You cannot use a standard Ethernet cable. Because the RX and TX must be crossed over when two devices are connected by one cable via each Ethernet port of the devices.

Have a read here.

Solution
As you found out a direct connection between computers will work without a crossover cable because Ethernet is smart enough to self configure. Ethernet is probably not the issue here, it is connection sharing with the PC. Assigning IPs and passing through the internet. Which then raises the question, how does the Mac get internet access? If it Internet is over wifi you would most easily solve the problem by buying an inexpensive wifi adapter for the PC.
