Ethernet controller driver on Acer Aspire 5551 windows 7 64 bit is missing.

Ethernet Controller driver is missing after system crash made it so I had to reinstall Windows 7-64 bit. Can't find one on the internet. Right now can only work wirelessly. What can I do?

Was it 64 bit BEFORE you reinstalled ?

If so then Acer will have the driver....ACER SUPPORT...

You need to go to Device Manager. Rick Click on the Ethernet Controller to update the driver. When Asked how to search for the driver software click on "Browse my computer for driver software.

Finally, Locate the folder on your computer and lick OK...It takes a few seconds and Voilà
