Ethernet Controller not installed

Alright so I play a lot of League and Smite and since 10 days ago the game has been unplayable (ping jumps from 60 to 300 in one second). I was using wifi for that, so then I researched Ethernet things and came across powerline adapters. I ordered mine yesterday and got it today; I got it setup but then it never connected (shows ethernet picture with yellow triangle) I have the TP Link nano AV500 and it claims to beable to plug and play and after spending the last straight 4 hours on this I discovered that I dont even have an ethernet controller (not sure what that is) and i searched for a driver update, but it couldn't find it. I have a Fatal1ty z97x killer and the ethernet port in the back of my computer says E2200 killer on it, so I looked up the driver online and didn't find the actually driver like from ASRock only shady looking driverscape.com Websites. Forgot to mention that there is a red light next to the ethernet port in the back of my computer. Please HELP!

Why didn't you look on the ASRock site? It is there under downloads. It is the LAN driver.
