cant get a ethernet controller for windows 7 64 bit

You can't get an ethernet controller? I'm somehow impressed that given your obvious connection to the internet you can't buy one from an online retailer, or find an electronics store near your house.

Impressive isn't the word I'm looking for. Depressing is more fitting.
