After Restarting my computer I cannot connect to the internet, the internet icon in the bottom right constantly says identifying.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my adapters driver,
I've reset my router and modem.
The ethernet cable works when I plug it into my laptop, and my wifi is working on every other device.
I've done some command prompt commands like /reset /release /flushdns with no results.
My ipconfig /all doesnt list a default gateway either.

Solution
So I solved the problem by uninstalling my antivirus.

I read on a post that your firewall could be blocking any connections so I uninstalled avast and restarted then it worked.

You are receiving apipa IP addressing so you have no contact with a dhcp server (most likely your router).
Open Network and Sharing Center>(left side) change adapter setting>right click the adapter>properties>Internet Protocol Version 4>Properties>make sure both settings are set to receive automatically.

I have set my IPV4 settings to receive automatically and I am getting the same error, is it possible something happened with the ethernet port on my motherboard?

One more command to try in the prompt- first make sure it's an elevated command prompt (run as admin) or this won't work:

netsh int ip reset

You will need to reboot your computer after running the above command. This will completely reset the IP configuration on all the adapters on your computer. If that doesn't work, try this one as well: netsh advfirewall reset
That will reset your firewall config to default, just in case something is blocking the DHCP requests/replies. If all of that isn't working, then it's likely an issue with your router.

Neither of those solved my issue :(

Could it still be a router problem if my desktop still won't connect to the internet when tethered to my phones mobile hotspot?

My IPV6 is also set to receive automatically to no avail
