Hello, today as I was looking through some stuff, I found a pair of tp links 85 mbps powerline ethernet adapters. Their model is TL-PA101 V2.0. When I connect it to my laptop, and the other one to my router, it gives me the error 'ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration'. Can someone please help, thanks.

Open a command prompt type the below and then copy the output here.

ipconfig /all

I suspect you will have a 169 IP address. If that is the case try the below in a command prompt and restart your computer.

netsh winsock reset catalog

Thanks for the advice, but it didn't work 🙁
