Hi my power went off today and throughout the whole day I have been trying to fix this issue. My computer won't connect to the internet. I have tried trouble shooting and everything but I get the same message

Ethernet Doesn't Have A Valid IP Configuration

I have looked here on this forum trying to see if other people have had this issue which that have so I follow their steps to try and resolve this issue with no luck.

The thing is my wireless connection is working perfectly on all devices around my house, but due to me not having a wireless card in my computer I have to use ethernet which is where I get the problem.

I have tried resetting my router multiple times and resetting my pc and pinging address' with no luck.

Also my Xbox runs off ethernet and that wasn't working until I turned wireless connection on.

I use a solwise homeplug av2 mimo which plugs into my wall and then my ethernet cable comes out of that into my computer due to me being upstairs whereas my router is downstairs. I have also reset this, unplugged it and done everything imaginable but still have no luck.

Thanks for reading and I hope you can help me.

From a wireless device find out the subnet your router is using and note the details. try assigning a static IP to the PC within that subnet but head for the far aend of the scale, if your wireless device is using 192.168.0.10 /24 try assigning the pc something like 192.168.0.250 /24. If it works you know its not a hardware issue, I expect its a frazzled WIN10 installation borked by updates. Do you get a link light on the NIC?

Hi again I don't have a NIC I have onboard ethernet with my motherboard and when I plug the ethernet cable in the light turns orange which I think is good and the other light is blinking and in the manual picture that I linked it says that data transmission should be ok so I don't see what the issue is.

Also Im not too sure how to change the static IP or whatever you were talking about but I put a screenshot of my IP config

No I do not but I managed to fix it As I think my ethernet cable was broken or my wall solwise homeplug was broken so I swapped them out and it seems to work but this isnt a perminant fix
