Ethernet driver keep messing up...

Hi,

Since the last windows 10 update or my new BT hub, im having issues with my ethernet driver.

It wont work until i reboot the PC everytime i start up.

Ive uninstalled it and tried to update it but it says its the best driver.

Its worked fine for 5 years up until now.

Ive swapped cables and ports and it still does the same thing.

I reboot fast but i dont want to reboot everyday.

Can someone help me work out why its doing this? googling it gives me loads of ancient results.

You could pick up an ethernet card or USB wifi.

what Motherboard is it?

I dont think its hardware fault, more a software issue the port is totally fine, my motherboard is - Asus P8Z77-V

Well you have the newest drivers so update bios. Then you can try recreating your network in windows.

im downloading the land driver now, not sure if i have it or if its an update, will let you know if it fixes anything, cheers for the help!

Well that kinda was crap, it just said cant upgrade and i need to uninstall my version, did that and it just says the same thing and puts my old version back on :\

Did you try the bios update?

no im not doing a bios update, i have a custom bios installed, dont wanna mess more things up over a lan driver lol

The ethernet driver is the problem . Use this hotfix from intel to fix .

This one is windows 10 .

Today i booted with no issue, i will monitor it for now and try that if it happens again.
