I have an Intel i5 CPU and a Gigabyte z77 Motherboard. If I have to download ethernet drivers, do I look for it on Intel's website or Gigabyte's?

Original problem : My build does not have a CD drive so I am unable to use the driver software that comes with the motherboard CD. I am trying to download it on my laptop and transfer it to my new PC via pen drive. Basically the internet on the new build is not working, I am assuming this is because I haven't installed network drivers?

I managed to find the downloads page, now, I need to know which ones do I need to download? (I have dedicated sound card and GPU so they have their own drivers)

Do I need this "Intel Management Engine Interface" thingy? I googled around multiple forums, no one seems to know what it is what what it does and how I will be affected if I don't use it.

I am using GA-Z77P-D3 motherboard. Intel i5-3750K CPU.

I installed the hard disk in AHCI mode, do I need to download "Intel® Rapid Storage Technology" driver?

There are no missing drivers, everything is working fine, except the internet. I hope it will work after I have installed the drivers which I downloaded a few minutes ago. I am just inquiring for general purposes since things like "Intel Management Engine Interface" and "Intel® Rapid Storage Technology" seem to be optional and debated all over the forums with no definitive answer. It's just a few MBs of space so I don't mind downloading and installing them, but I just don't want to install drivers that might conflict later and I don't want to miss out by not installing essentials. Hence the dilemma.
