[SOLVED] Ethernet drops many times randomly and restarting fixes it

This problem started maybe 2 or 3 days ago when I made a Minecraft server for me and my friends, but randomly during night at 4am my Ethernet connection would suddenly drop, restarting my router didn't fix it, neither did changing ports on my router. The only thing that actually worked out was restarting my PC in full entirety. Up until now, this only happened late night, now it happens a few times an hour and I'm almost at a loss for what to do. I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but after the first few times this happened and I restart my PC to fix it, my PC takes noticeably longer to restart.

i dont know what the problem is but have you tried restarting your ethernet card? Instead of the whole computer

Try to set up a static ip on your pc and see if it persists.
