Ethernet has solid amber/orange light and flashing yellow light. just curious what this means

I have a Dell inspiron 660 with a realtek pcie gbe family controller card. at the back of my desktop, my Ethernet has solid amber/orange light and flashing yellow light. just curious what this means. i have good internet connection. just curious. thanks

Yes that is activity, that article is for a oracle server however and the actual speed indication may vary. You can get even more specific details if you find your computers make and model then figure out the network controller's model. There you can search and find all kinds of details about your connection.

Yup. i tried that. However contacting dell is no use because they dont answer to customers with warranties that are already expired. i tried through phone, email and chat. Thanks alot for your help.
