Ethernet is Not Being Detected

My ethernet connection was not working, so I went to device manager to uninstall it and reinstall it. When I tried to reinstall it, it didn't work, nothing came up. So I assume it is not being detected... What do I do?

1st step: right click on Network adapters and select "scan my system for changes"
If it still does not detect it then restart your pc and try again or try to directly install the driver
