Question Ethernet is not working

I have recently upgraded my mother board, CPU, ram, and CPU cooler and my Ethernet port on my motherboard is not working even though it was working on my old hardware, would this be a faulty motherboard or a broken Ethernet cable?

My motherboard is a
Gigabyte z390 m gaming
And CPU is a i7-8700k

probably just don't have the correct driver installed? or maybe as you mentioned the cable is bad
