I moved my setup across the room from the router which caused me to switch Ethernet cables to a longer one. It doesn't get recognized unless I change the speed and duplex to 10Mbps half duplex for some reason. This gives me much worse internet speed than I had before. Any help?

Solution
Do you know anything about the cable?
Click pin facing down what color are the cables from left to right.
compare them to T568A and T568B patterns.
Patch cables should be T568A on both sides or T568B on both sides. If one side is A and one B it's a crossover cable.

Could also be a bad crimp, either way you will be fixing/replacing the cable.
