Ethernet issues with Z77a-G45 on Windows 10

I have recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and everything works perfectly well. Installed latest drivers from MSI's website. Some of the drivers are Windows 8's drivers and everything works flawlessly.

However, there is only one issue and that is the Ethernet. I have tried using Windows 7,8, & even 10 ethernet drivers with the same results. My pc is connected to the router via LAN and the speed im getting is only half of what im supposed to. Tested the speed of my internet on my phone and other devices without problems. Im supposed to get 20+/-mbps per Speedtest.net test and on my PC i can only get 12mbps. It is however consistent at 12mbps. I've done several 'fixes' stated on the internet regarding Windows 10 download speed issues (windows update and also the Qos bandwith fix) with no avail. Everthing was ok prior to Windows 10.

I hope anyone who had similar issue as me or anyone who had solved it can help me with this. If it is a driver issue i hope MSI would continue to support this board and solve my problem as i love windows 10 and also this motherboard.

have you tried the drivers from the RealTek website?

Have you updated the chipset drivers? I have heard of this causing speed issues after w10 upgrade.

Thank you for your help! I did try didnt work. The problem was the chipset driver! I did not update. Haha im such a noob.

Omaigod! Thank you very much!!!!! I have been with this issue close to two weeks and everyday googling without avail!. Thank you thank you. I never update my chipset driver because i dont see any difference from it. But now i know there is a reason to do so 😛
